Shipping & Delivery
What are the offered shipping options?
We offer worldwide Shipping
- Free shipping takes 5-10 business days
- DHL Express takes 1-3 business days. Price depends on region.
Items are shipped from Tuesday to Saterday and the cutoff point is 4PM CET.
All items are shipped from Belgium
Will my items arrive before the Holidays?
We try to ship everything ASAP. That being said, I unfortunately don't control the local shipping services. Busy periods like the Holidays, around Black Friday, Thanksgiving, ... always translate in longer transit times.
To make sure your items arrive before the 25th of december, please order before 18th for frames without personalized lenses and before 15th for frames with prescription lenses.
Can I track my shipment?
Yes! With both free shipping and DHL, you receive a tracking link.
Are duties included in the price?
Unfortunately, no.
UK: Since Brexit, duties and import taxes have to be paid on all imported items. This will depend on how you have shipped the items a what value they are.Goods that have a value below £39 will be duty and tax free. Goods between £40 and £135 will be duty free but subject to VAT @ 29%. Goods over £135 will be charged duty and VAT.
USA: For USA, the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) rate applies, which is 2%.

Returns and Refunds
Can I return Frames if I don’t like them?
Yep!
In the unlikely event that you don't like the frame you bought, they can be returned within 14 days after receiving the item. Shipping costs or return costs are never refunded. All goods must be returned to us in the exact condition you received them including all packaging.

HOLIDAYS: We understand that items our bought as a gift. Therefore, we extend the return period to 20 days for all items bought in december.
What happens if I receive faulty/damaged frames?
We take great pride and care to ensure that you will receive your order in excellent condition.
However, if there is any damage to the frame, please contact our service department at info@vintagedesignerframes.com and together we will find a solution.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive the goods back in the original condition, we will issue a refund minus shipping charges (only if you choose other shipping than the free one, meaning we don't refund the DHL Express shipping cost).
Any costs that we may incur for the returned goods will be deducted from the credit.
Please note that all return costs (shipment, taxes and duties) are to be paid by the customer. Please also provide us with a tracking link for the return. You can email that to info@vintagedesignerframes.com
Is there an extended return possible during the Holidays?
We understand that items our bought as a gift. Therefore, we extend the return period to 20 days for all items bought in december. Need more time? Just contact us at info@vintagedesignerframes.com
How do I return an item?
First of all, go to the returns portal. Then, place the frame back into its original packaging and seal the box. Take extra care on the customs declaration on your shipping paperwork to avoid unnecessary import duty when we receive them. Mark the goods as “returned to sender” or “returned for warranty” in the shipping documents. Any costs that we incur for returned goods will be deducted from the refund. If you ship the goods back via a courier (Fedex, UPS etc.) there may be a clearance charge which we will have to subtract from the credit.
